I'm Better this week

So last week I was a angry fool because of what happened with my daughter in school.  I was also expecting some lame excuse from the school as to why nothing would be done or that they have punishment in place that they never really implement.

Anywho things are working itself out and I am comfortable with the effort I'm getting on their behalf.... However I'm still subject to snap if I don't hear a good solid plan moving forward. Don't play with my baby!

I'm sure to have pictures for my post next week, but this mama is a busy, busy bee this week between my work, school, homework and all the 99,000 places I have to run these people kids at least 6 days a week.  I just keep praying for at least one of them to hurry up and get their drivers license because I can't take too much more of this Driving Miss Daisy crap!
 
With all that I forgot what I was saying! UGH... the kids have Homecoming this weekend and while they are super to get dressed up (well my daughter anyway my son will wear jeans) I'm thinking about all the money I've spent, and will have to BEG them for one little funky picture!
 
Too bad slapping children is frowned upon these days...

    I came here to catch up on mom stuff and realized I missed some things since last visiting and hard to go back and read! I just want to say, you're an incredible mother and so strong. Your kids have a great role model to look up to. No one should ever have to deal with bullying ESPECIALLY in the form of racism. Hope things get better.

Ok. So while this is not my proudest moment in life due to a family member recently experiencing abuse is the reason why I think it's important for me to revisit my experience.  However, this will be short, because I prayed and promised that I would NEVER let this crap consume my life ever again. I spent 8 years with my abuser.  Not being raised in a household with both parents made me want that for my children so I lived with verbal and physical abuse to give them what I didn't have.  Imagine me a 22 year old young woman with 3 kids and no real idea of what this family dynamic was supposed to look like.  I was raised by loving grandparents, but they were old even when I was young, and didn't teach me what I needed to know about this kind of stuff.  I learned the hard way. I would always fight back which is why I think it lasted so long.  Just because you defend yourself doesn't make the abuse ok.  He's still a man and was stronger than me....

Where should I start.... Oh yeah! My kids are spoiled! And yes I know it's my fault... I was super spoiled the same way growing up so I guess a lot of how I am comes from that.  I also feel like I have to over compensate because the majority of their wants, and needs come from my household.  But sometimes I want to kick myself, because it's getting out of hand! I work very hard to provide for them and they see me working day and night to get done with school, take them here, there and everywhere in-between on top of going to work ect.... But does that register when they want something..... HELLLLLLL NOOOOOOO! I could have JUST sat down, and here they come and not with a "Hi Mom!
