HOMECOMING!!!!!!

Image
I'm sooooo glad Homecoming is OVER!! Words can not express how much of pain in the butt the entire process can be when you have a daughter 😒... She found a dress a few weeks back BUT because we are swamped at all times she waited too late to get it ordered.  Anywho needless to say we ordered this dress Monday (thank the Lord for Amazon Prime).  As you can see she looked BEAUTIFUL!!!!! And of course I did a dress count down... She's a Sophomore so 2 more Homecoming and 2 Prom dresses and I'M FREE!!!! No more damn dresses until she gets married which by then I might be ready.       Now my son is a different story all together...  As you can see he is NOT for the dressing up.  Not even a little bit!  He is the cute one on the pink shirt and jeans! LOL  He will however be wearing a tux to Prom this year like it or not.   And because I'm his mother how could not put his Jr. year football...

I'm Better this week

So last week I was a angry fool because of what happened with my daughter in school.  I was also expecting some lame excuse from the school as to why nothing would be done or that they have punishment in place that they never really implement. Anywho things are working itself out and I am comfortable with the effort I'm getting on their behalf.... However I'm still subject to snap if I don't hear a good solid plan moving forward. Don't play with my baby!     I'm sure to have pictures for my post next week, but this mama is a busy, busy bee this week between my work, school, homework and all the 99,000 places I have to run these people kids at least 6 days a week.  I just keep praying for at least one of them to hurry up and get their drivers license because I can't take too much more of this Driving Miss Daisy crap!   With all that I forgot what I was saying! UGH... the kids have Homecoming this weekend and while they are super to get dressed...

I'm beyond PISSED (sorry)

Ok... since I have to do this weekly blog today I have to get a bit off topic of whatever my original set up is due to an event that happened to my daughter Christian (the 16 year old) at school. Just to set the stage for the incident at hand not that it should matter, but my kids go to a predominately white school in Bartonville, IL.  This school is know for it's many issues with racism toward the few black and brown kids that have attended over the years. Like... when I tell people where my kids go to school black and white people alike ask me "have you had any issues with name calling"  my answer sadly is yes my daughter has had problems, but my son for some reason has not.  Anywho today in the hallway my daughter had an exchange with a girl who rambled off a few slurs laughed with her friends and walked away.  Now my daughter is a lot like me and had to gather herself before she made a mistake that would have gotten H...

How'd I get here?

So I bet you're wondering... How does she deal with all these kids and be all these different things to all these other people too?   Yes, I sure will drink in the mornings!  My friends and I call it breakfast... Don't you?!  No but seriously I feel in love with a fool at a young age and had 3 of the most wonderfully crazy kids and the rest is history.  I'm no different than any of the other super moms out there I'm just doing a lot a the same damn time.  I had them young so I had to work first to support them so school had to take a backseat for awhile until I had time.  Lucky for me I always kept a good job, but raising these sweet souls was not an option... it was a priority. Now they are bigger than me and I want to toss them out of the window of a moving vehicle more often then not. (Don't judge me) The baby girl Christian and I Kayla her subjects!  The boy(Aj)
